René de Lange
Print Designer and Illustrator
René de Lange is a designer and illustrator working in Textiles and Homeware. Based on the Sussex Coast, René has established a practice as a designer and illustrator for fashion and homeware brands.
Born in South Africa, René studied Fashion at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication and did her MA in Printed Textiles at The Royal College of Art.
An obsession with painting, botany and fashion illustration has led René to build up a strong visual identity and continue her great passion for authentic textiles and homeware prints.
Since graduation she has worked with brands such as Meng London, Reiss, Thurley, Age of Reason, Jenny King Embroidery and Marks and Spencer.
René exhibited at Indigo in Paris in September 2009 and her prints featured on WGSN and Stylesight as part of live trend reports in 2008. Her work has featured in various books including 'Visual Research Methods in Fashion' by Julia Gaimster.
